Divya Iyer - Western Vocals 

 

A vocalist from Mumbai, who has undergone training in Carnatic, Hindustani and Western Vocals. She has pursued her Diploma in Western Classical music from KM Mumbai Conservatory. She played the lead role (Rosalinda) in the opera production of Die Fliedermaus by Johann Strauss staged at KM in 2017. She has won a silver medal for western vocals in national level youth festival by AIU. She has participated in masterclasses conducted by Patricia Rozario OBE and Benjamin Appl. She has been part of the Stop-Gaps choral ensemble and was also a part of the Indo-Fusion band Folkswagon. She has performed for msuic festivals including The Madras Jazz Festival, The Catamaran Beach Festival, Fete de La Musique and in 2019 was featured as one of ARs Super 8 in a AR Rahman's Facebook Original Series

Derrick Johnson - Piano 

 

Derrick is a pianist, keyboardist, composer and an experienced music educator hailing from Mumbai. He has an advanced certificate in classical piano recital from Trinity College London and Grade 8 in Pop music theory from London College of Music. He has also undergone training in Piano pedagogy. He has performed for masterclass by Raj Bhimani and Roxana Anklesaria. Although classically trained, he enjoys playing by ear and re-harmonise songs. As an educator, he has a wide experience of teaching across top music schools in Mumbai and is a proud tutor to numerous distinction holding students at international piano and music theory exams. He has served as an Assistant Professor of piano, music theory and ear training at the True School of Music/ Vijaybhoomi University. In December 2021, he was awarded the Fellowship of the Fraternity of Saint Cecilia. 

He has a knack for attention to details and propels his students to bring out their absolute best performance. He considers himself as a perpetual learner and wishes to be a quality member in the world of music education.

Anthrix J. - Guitar, Music Theory & Composition 

 

Anthrix Jayakumar is a Music Composer, Producer and multi-instrumentalist from Mumbai, India. He is professionally trained in Music Composition under Dr.Jimmy Bunch and Guitar under Mr.Matt Bacon at KMMC Chennai (2015-2018) . He has 5+ years of experience in Music Composition, use of Carnatic ragas as soundscapes and his notable body of work includes:

• Short films “Human Being God” (Runner up National Short film festival, organised by Scroll and Times Network 2017-18) and Roti” for Indian Film Project season 7.

• Advertisement Music for Gauri pvt ltd ‘A fast-growing UK consultancy with expertise in Salesforce CRM and SAP ERP implementations’  (2020).

• Advertisement music for Mercedes Benz , Canada Division, for their Social Media Campaign (2022).

• Music production, programming & arrangement of Two Marathi songs “Yeshil Tu” & “Ek Cup Coffee” (2022 and 2023 respectively).

•  Background Music Score & Programming for Marathi Web Series “Mantrik”.

• Music arrangement works with bands Lopamudra , Vayavya , Greyfade , Tasveer , Aver and Up in Space. (2017 to present).

• His current project in process involves music editing and background scoring for an Indian superhero web series in partnership with “VirArt Studios”

Alisdair Pickering - Film Scoring & Composition 

 

Alisdair is a composer and arranger from the UK. He studied jazz composition and arranging in Amsterdam and has written for orchestras and big bands across Europe in classical, jazz and pop genres. He continues to work as a freelance arranger and composer and has written for ensembles such as the Czech Studio Orchestra, United Soloists Orchestra (SUI), Ricciotti Ensemble (NL), Conservatorium van Amsterdam Large Ensemble, Aperio (USA), Dutch Student Jazz Orchestra and the Hull Philharmonic (UK).

He has also scored several films, working closely with British film director Ryan J. Smith. Alisdair is keen on combining both orchestral and electronic elements for his scores, utilising live musicians and electronic elements to achieve new sounds and textures.

In 2022 he spent 5 months teaching guitar and composition at the Kathmandu jazz conservatory, and regularly performed around Kathmandu with Nepali folk musicians.

Harshil is a Singer/Audio Engineer based in Mumbai. He completed Diploma in Western Music (Vocal Major) from KM Music Conservatory, Chennai and also an Associate Degree of Audio from SAE Institute Melbourne. He works as an Assistant Engineer at AR Rahman’s Mumbai Studio. He takes care of Recording and Mixing (Stereo and Atmos). He also works as a freelance mixing engineer. He mixed ‘The Gentleman (Rock)’ from the Netflix series The Kota Factory. Other artists he has worked for include INGA( Bangalore/Mumbai), Shanty Town (Melbourne) and The Flying Fish(Mumbai) to name a few.
